The ILO-Motorenwerke in Pinneberg existed from 1911 to 1990 and were one of the biggest manufacturers of two-stroke engines in Germany. In 1977 the company was sold to the American Tecumseh Products Company but in 1990 ILO sold all available stock and a history of 80 years existence came to an end.
